NASDAQ OMX to Observe a Moment of Silence on Friday, September 10, 2010

What you need to know:

  • On Friday, September 10, 2010, NASDAQ OMX® U.S. markets will observe a moment of silence at 10:29 a.m., Eastern Time (ET), in honor of September 11th victims and their families.
  • Refer to the NASDAQ OMX website for information on NASDAQ OMX remembrance activities.

What will take place?

On Friday, September 10, 2010, all NASDAQ OMX U.S. markets will observe a moment of silence from 10:29 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., ET, in remembrance of September 11th victims and their families.

We invite market participants to join NASDAQ OMX in this silent remembrance. Since trading will not be halted during this time, it is requested that market participants use their best judgment and sensitivity in regards to trading during the moment of silence.
