At a special meeting held on October 12, 2021, shareholders of Score Media and Gaming Inc. (SCR) approved a merger with Penn National Gaming, Inc. (PENN). The merger closed prior to the market open on October 19, 2021. In anticipation of the closing, the stock was halted immediately following the after-hours session at 8 p.m. on October 18, 2021.
